The course is a basic introductory course to understand the nature of working with communities in addressing climate change issues. The participants will be given an overview of climate change adaptation and mitigation focusing on practical options for livelihoods and agriculture. They will also learn how to facilitate participatory climate vulnerability assessments and community adaptation planning.
Course fee: $1800
The training fees cover meals and coffee breaks, double occupancy accommodation, course-related materials, field and agency visits, and airport transfers. Fees do not include international airfare, laundry and incidental expenses. Applicants are encouraged to secure financial support from their organizations or donor agencies.
